Practical Scrappers: Corrugated Elements on Layouts {Creative Scrappers sketch 193}

*A quick note that I have NOT heard from the Frosted Designs Winter Wonderland Blog Hop RAK winner. If I do not get a response by Thursday evening, I will randomly select a new winner and post on Friday!! To see if you were the winner, go HERE.*

Hello everyone!! Hope you all are having a fabulous day!! I am back today to share my layout from the Practical Scrappers corrugated elements on a layout post

I used the current sketch from Creative Scrappers (sketch 193):

And a few detailed photos:

This was a really fun, stress-free layout to make...I used my new TCW brick mask, and placed a large circle negative over it to get my circle background. I hand drew and cut the bracket background paper, and I took some star negatives that had run through my cricut and hand cut out my stars. This came together nicely and easily and I really love it! :)

You should definitely head over to Practical Scrappers and see all the different ways the PS gals and fans have used corrugated elements...lots of inspiration!!

Thanks so much!! :)

(For this layout, I used the Echo Park Little Boy Collection kit, TCW 12x12 mask in Bricks, AC Thickers in Daiquiri, some Walnut ink mist, twine, buttons and black and white cardstock)

  1. I love this layout! Awesome how you adapted a "girlie" sketch for a great boy page! TFS!

  2. That mask made for such a neat background and what a great idea to make it a circle.

  3. Great boys page, love how you used the brick mask in the circle and the stars as replacements for the flowers....lovely work!!!

  4. What a fantastic layout. Love the masking. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Great job! I really like how you took a very girly sketch and made it perfect for a boy I sometimes struggle with that!

  6. Could have sworn I commented on this one lol You did a great job with the mask I love it, and I love this colour combo, great layout! Tx
