MME Blog Challenge #31

Hi all!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
I have been scrapping away, and got my layout done for the My Mind's Eye Blog Challenge #31. It is a fabulous sketch, and I really loved working with it!

Here is my layout:

And the sketch:

And some detailed photos:

The challenge: Design a layout based on this fabulous sketch and use the theme “NEW” on the layout (sketch by Anam Stubbington).

I decided to go with a soft palette and scrap a photo of myself and my sweet little boy Jacob right after he was born. I have so many to scrap, but this photo is one of my faves...oh how I miss him that small!
I mixed quite a few different lines in this layout, but they all coordinated wonderfully!

Thank you all so much for stopping by!! :)

(For this layout, I used: MME Kraft Funday-paper, banner; MME Stella Rose-paper, label sticker, journal card, brads, ribbon, buttons; MME Lost and Found2-paper, brads, burlap trim; MME Limetwist-Fly A Kite alphas; other-kraft cardstock for matting)
