Creative Scrappers Sketch #214

This weekend, my husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! :)

And it just so happens that I did a layout about us for the newest CS sketch reveal!! 

Sketch #214:

 These photos are from our family photos taken November 2011. We have done family photos in the fall for the past 3 years, but this was the first time that Justin and I had "couple" photos done. I am thinking that we need to do it every year now. :)

I used the new MME Nostalgia collection for this layout, and can I just say how gorgeous this line is?!?! I love, love, love the colors!!! 

I have also used my MS butterfly punch and the Twinery twine in flax.

{Love ♥ Love} Anniversary layout

Hello and Hi! I have a layout I put together of my husband and me on our 2nd Anniversary. I used the current colors at CCG for this layout. Here is my page:

My title is the song title by John Michael Montgomery: I Love The Way You Love Me. This was my first attempt at paper rolling, and I think I did pretty good!! I also decided to stitch down my title letters. Thought it gave a good look to it. You can see my transparent flourishes coming out under the paper roll.

My very, very short amount of "journaling", more of just a detail of what the pics are, lol. Also some close-ups of some of the embellies.

Here are the roses he sent me on our Anniversary, So sweet! I added a flourish photo corner, and stitched down with opposite color thread.

I got some great advice from some friends on this layout, and I think it turned out great because of their help!! So, thank you ladies(you know who you are!)!!

CardPatterns sketch 122 challenge entry

I have a card today that I made for my Aunt and Uncle's 40th Wedding Anniversary. My mother called me up and asked if I was willing to make a card for them from all of us. Of course I said yes, lol! Here is my card:

Anniversary card, CCG challenge 197 and Sassy Lil Card Sketches

Hello again!! I thought I would drop in really quick and add this card I did using the current challenge at CCG:

Here is my card:

 

I made this for my husband for our anniversary tomorrow! It will be 4 years, and I couldn't be any happier! I tried out my EZ engraver for the tag. I took a wooden tag that I have had for ages, and engraved the word Love. I then took acrylic paint, and layered red, pink and black, then wiped it off with a tissue. I put faux stitching around the tag, then wiped it off to give a very aged look. I hand stitched my ribbon to give it the pleating look, and also stamped the flower on cream paper with pink and red ink. Loved the little heart button, so I had to throw it on there, too!

I am entering my first Color Combos Galore challenge! This was a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to entering in many more challenges there!

These were the colors for my wedding, so I knew that I had to do this challenge! Here is what I came up with:

 

It was perfect timing, because our 4th Anniversary is next month. I am more in love with my husband now than ever, and this really put me in the mood to celebrate our anniversary!
