Wowzers!

Super-duper-uper excited this morning when I saw that my layout: my life, my love, my family was featured as an I Spy Echo Park Paper project on Echo Parks blog itself!! A-mazing!! I am so honored that they chose it!!! Thank you, thank you Echo Park!!!  :D

I also saw this morning that the above layout's counterpart, my boys, was chosen as a fave at Sketchy Thursdays! Yay!!

Off to a great start for the day!! :D

Fave at Sketchy Thursdays!

Yay! My layout, Our new puppy Thor, was selected as a fave at Sketchy Thursdays for sketch 10.20. Always exciting when you get news like that! Makes me happy!!! :D

CCG Feature Member!!

Hi everyone!! I am sooo excited to be the Feature Member for ColorCombosGalore this week!! Yay! Doing my happy dance!! lol...Anyway, Thank You to everyone over there for being so amazing!! Special shout-out to Debbi (I love you lady!!) Okay, lol, here is my layout:

Here are some close-ups for you!

I really like how the title turned out. The alpha stickers from Echo Park(For The Record line) with the teal border reminds me of baby blocks!

close up of the journaling and one of the flowers. I had absolutely NO dark teal anything (besides the beads). So, I had to ink some medium teal cardstock to get the correct color. I also inked the thread! lol

I thought this was such a sweet picture, and it needed something to draw your eye to it. I love the look with the "border". The flowers came from a dear friend(thank you Shaunery!!), and I cut the vellum with my cricut to give them one more layer. Attached them all together with teal brads from SpareParts.

 

 

 

Here is the border. I didn't want it to overpower the layout, or the pictures, so i put the vellum over it to give it a softer look. I love the look of the eyelets on the border, too!

Road Trip

Good evening everyone! I have a layout today that I did combining the current Color Combos Galore challenge and Fabulous Friday Challenge at Frosted Designs, which is to use stitching on your layout.
