Hello everyone!!
Today's Practical Scrappers: Challenge Me Tuesday was to use polygons with 5+ sides on your project. I know that hexagons/honeycomb is really popular right now, so if you need some inspiration on that and other polygon shapes, head over to Practical Scrappers to see all the fabulous projects!
I decided to go subtle with my hexagons, lol. They are there though, as a small accent embellie...
I have used Liz Qualman's fabulous sketch that she had made for the end of the Practical Scrappers Link with Love Blog Hop! It was such an amazing sketch that I just had to use it!!
I did turn the sketch upside down, and shrunk it just a bit.
Some detailed photos:
I used the on holiday collection from the girls' paperie...love the pp and colors from this line! I took some of the little chipboard hexagon pieces from Pink Paislee's nantucket line, and covered them. I have also used some twine and buttons, as well as Lily Bee Designs ABC alphas.
I hope you enjoyed my layout, and I thank you for stopping by! Don't forget to head over to Practical Scrappers and see all the inspiration from this weeks CMT, and also go see Liz's amazing take on her sketch!!
