CSI Case#1 is live!!

I am so excited to share my layout with you all today!! The reveal is live and everyone's pages are amazing!!!

Okay, lets just get to it! Here is case #1:

And here is my layout:

I made a sketch for this layout:

As you can see, I didn't quite follow my own sketch, lol. I made this sketch awhile back, right after Deb sent over the colors, as I knew in my mind what I wanted to do. Of course, when I started to put my layout together, it just didn't work the way I wanted it to. But, that is why I love sketches, it pushed my in the direction I want to go, and the process just takes over! And, I love my layout! :)

Here are some detailed photos:

For the evidence, I used numbers and a bow, and for the journaling, I used a numbered list and journaled about how crazy my boys are, and even more so, how jacob is acting just like his older brother!!

I really hope you all take the time and head over to CSI and play along!! It is so much fun, and there are so many amazing ladies there!!

For this layout, I used:
  • The Paper Studio cardstock(black)
  • MME Lost and Found Portobello road pp
  • MME Limetwist: Fly a Kite & Out of the Blue pp
  • CratePaper Toy Box Collection pp
  • AC Thickers, Delight foam black
  • Crate Paper toy Box Collection alpha labels
  • Echo Park For The Record alpha stickers
  • Authentique diction
  • Crate Paper Toy Box Collection: Phrases (designer journal & title stickers), Border Stickers, Accent Cuts
  • MME Breaking Free Wild Ride "You Are A Star" small accessories
  • The Paper Studio: Bag 'O Buttons
  • Queen & Co pearls
  • twine
  • embroidery floss
Thank you all so, so much for stopping by!! I am looking forward to what you all can do with these fun colors!!

  3. Not only did you do a great job combining the colours, you also made a sketch. I love how you kept the layout masculine and those little green silhouettes were a a great touch. Love the look on the kids faces, I can only imagine the mischief that they create around the house. Can't wait to see your next layout.
