I made this for Sketchy Thursday's August Guest DT Challenge:
you are to use a summer theme, red, orange and or yellow, and have a journaling spot |
Here are my detailed photos:
I did a lot of handstitching, and also got to use my new Tim Holtz paper edge distresser! I love that little thing!! It is so much fun, lol! I staggered the buttons on top with pop up adhesive to give them some dimension. I am going to enter this into Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge, which is to use buttons!! I think I use buttons on almost all my layouts, so I love this weeks challenge!! :D
For this layout, I used:
- Cardstock: DCWV SafariKids cardstock
- Paper: ATD Vibrant, The Paper Studio, MME(Where The Heart Is & Twinkle, Twinkle Little Boys)
- Ribbon: The Ribbon Boutique and ribbon trends
- Stickers: MakingMemories puffy alphas, white alpha stickers(unknown)
- Colorbok chipboard letters
- K&Company wild saffron Die-Cut Cardstock
- string
- acrylic paint
- SpareParts by The Paper Studio - brads
- Jolee's All That Bling dimentional stickers
- Favorite Finding buttons (small orange)
- square button from stash
- Magic Scraps:vellum words
Much love,
Jenny♥
