Fancy Pants Trend Setter - frame project

I decided to put together a little gift for the boys' Nana (my MIL) and pulled out my Trend Setter collection from Fancy Pants Designs, as I know that she loves this collection/colors!

I picked out a recent photo and printed it using my Selphy, and then decided to cut it down to size and us it in one of the cute, little photo frames from the collection.

Once I picked my frame, I pulled out some embellies and put it all together! She really loves it (and those sweet faces in the picture, too!!)!  :)

(The actual frame it is in was for a 5x7 photo. I removed the glass so I could add dimension.)

Instacool - Bella Blvd layout

Yesterday on the Bella Blvd blog, I had a layout up with a small challenge...to use Instagram photos. You can see the post HERE.

I loved playing with the Mr. Boy collection...perfect for all my Instagram pics of my silly boys! :) The red really adds to the layout, as well as complimenting the orange from the photos. The gray background really makes the rest of the colors from the collection pop. I added in some staples and some black stitching...love the look the give!

My super sweet and silly Jacob decided to get into my scrappy supplies one day while I was scrapping, so of course the perfect photo op happened! ;)

Lots of layers and staples on this one!

And yes, corrugate paper IS hard to staple into! Ha!

Guest Designer for Scrap & Music

I was very excited when I received an email from my super sweet and ubber talented scrappy friend, Ana Castro, asking me to be a Guest Designer for her new sketch site, Scrap & Music!!

For my challenge, I was to use the provided sketch and any of the lyrics from the song, I'm Yours, by Jason Mraz as my title.

Bella Blvd Saturday Sketch (On Friday)

How is everyone? I know, I know...it has been quite awhile since I had anything to share! We have been very busy this past month (see bottom of post) and I really haven't had too much time to scrap!

But, today I have a layout to share for the Saturday (Friday) Sketch over at Bella Blvd! It is a gorgeous sketch by Becky Fleck, and I pretty much stuck to it...

Fun in the Sun

I used the Sand & Surf collection...LOVE! So bright and fun! I have to admit that I didn't think I would get to use it that much...as we haven't taken too many vacas or been to the beach. But, I have really been able to make it work on our lake photos from last year, as well as some other fun, outdoor, pool photos! It just goes to show that you don't have to use a collection for it's intended purpose! :)

So, I mentioned being busy...lol. If you don't Instagram or not a FB friend of mine, then you may not have noticed my ongoing photos of my life right now! We have been busy with baseball, basketball camp, birthdays, and doing a front yard makeover!! Here are a few photos to show you all! :)

 This little guy turned 5!!!

 We went to the donut shop for his birthday breakfast :)

 A long season and a lot of hard work paid off...1st place!!!!

 My amazing and creative dad built me these fabulous flower boxes!! I found some that were way $$$ on Pinterest, so we spent just a small $ and he built them for me! I sanded them, filled the holes with filler and painted them!

 Another little (getting sooo big) guy has a birthday coming up, and got a queen bedroom suite! His little bubby kind of loves it, lol!

And, as of this morning, my flower boxes are ready for flowers!!! My dad is finishing up the tall, skinny box for the porch now, and I am sure I will be posting photos of it to my Instagram soon! You can see it on my sidebar.
