100% Happy - Fancy Pants Designs

Hi everyone!!

Today I am sharing a Fancy Pants Designs layout using the Park Bench collection...

I started this layout knowing I wanted to use the corrugated paper. I tore a strip off and then built my layers up right on top of it! Also for this layout, I did not cut one piece of patterned paper...I used all of the amazing die-cuts and embellishings from the collection!

Boys Rule April kit layout - You Are My Boy

Hi all!

I am going to share a new Boys Rule layout with you all today using the fun and fab April kit!

You Are My Boy

So, for this layout I pulled out the acrylic arrow shape and Pen-touch white opaque pen and went to work! :)  *The kraft cardstock is not included in the kit*

 I did some stitching throughout the layout in a coordinating orange thread....love the touch it gives!

 I love the Studio Calico frames that come with this kit...such a great detail to the photo!

I am so proud of this little guy!! His first year of school, Pre-Kindergarten, and he has been selected as Star Student of the Week 2 times in his class! And the year isn't even over yet! They only select them every other week, and his teacher decided that instead of letting everyone get selected once, they would actually choose the kids that deserve it...and he was the first child in the whole school to get it twice!! I am beyond blessed to have such smart, sweet, well-behaved children! :)

Bella Blvd - Sand & Surf collection: Sun, Shades & Smiles

The more I play with this collection, the more I love it! Besides the bright and fun colors, the patterns and matching embellishments are amazing!

Sun, Shades & Smiles

We spend quite a bit of time at the lake during the summer, and I love to get photos (of course!). This photo is just another quick picture we took in the boat before going out on the water. The Sand & Surf collection was perfect for it. I love the shades (sunglasses) that are repeated through it, along with all the other fabulous prints. And, the colors are so fun and bright. Such a great collection to have on hand.

FPD Down By The Shore - Make A Big Splash layout

All the different embellishments that come with this collection are amazing! The bags and the flags are so cute, and I totally swoon for the flair!!!

Boys Rule - April Extreme Scrappy Challenge!

Over on the Boys Rule blog today, we have the April Extreme Scrappy Challenge!

This month's challenge is to use at least 5 different patterned papers. Not too hard, right!?!?

Here is my take on the challenge...

Ice Cream Run

I made sure to use 5 separate papers (not just a few a sides and b sides...5 separate sheets). This collection comes with some fabulous prints that are great for cutting up and embellishing with! I also never thought I would use the scrabble-type paper, but when I saw the word "hungry", I had to use with this photo of the boys. We take a lot of ice cream runs in the summer, but for some reason this particular trip got photographed!! ;)

 I used that fabulous white pen from the kit and made my own stitching-type embellishings...so fun! 

I took the journal card and cut out the tag shape and made it into an actual journaling tag! ;)

This was a fun layout to put together! I just love these colors and patterns, and having such fun embellishings to work with is definitely a plus!!

You Are Amazing - Boys Rule layout

Hi all!

I would love to share a Boys Rule layout with you all today! :)

 The new April kit featuring All About A Boy by Echo Park is such a bright, fun collection and Laura-Lee has matched some fabulous embellishments with it! I always love when the kit has coordinating buttons, and those frames are just too cute!!

You Are Amazing

I thought the blues of this collection matched my photo perfectly! The embellishment stickers are so fun with this line! I just love that hot air balloon!!

I am so excited to share my projects with you using the fabulous Petaloo flowers!! Now, you all know that I mostly scrap boy pages, boy cards, etc. So, it was definitely a challenge to scrap with flowers, but I was up for it, and so glad I was!

"Amazing Birthday" card

 I know I am going to sound repetitive, but the Petaloo flowers match up so well with Bella! Look how gorgeous these flowers are with the Birthday Girl collection! I can't wait to give this beautiful card away!

"Happy Mother's Day" card

 For this card, I decided to make the flowers the focal point. I added the chevron paper and then the trim and banner piece. I then added the Petaloo flowers, topped with Bella Blvd Buttons, and then the sentiment sticker. I just love the look of the flowers with the buttons in the center!

"Now and Forever" card

 As soon as I saw these flowers, I knew I would mix them with some of the new Bella Blvd Feathers! So gorgeous together! The sentiment in the paper is subtle enough to let the beautiful feathers and flowers stand out!

"Springtime" card

 How cute are these little flowers?! I just love them paired with the Spring Flings and Easter Things collection. A sweet and simple card ready for Spring!

"On A Sunny Afternoon"

 These Petaloo flowers were perfect for the Sand and Surf collection! I layered them and topped them off with some Bella buttons. They were just right for my favorite photo of my niece!
