The quote, Brothers Forever, is by Patsy Gaut:

I'll look after
you always and
I'll take your
side-

Even though
we grow up
and travel far
and wide-

But I'll
let no one
hurt you or
tease you today

Cause I'm
your big
brother and
beside you I'll
stay.

My First Layout as a Frosted Design DT member!!

Hi everyone!! I am sooooo excited about this post!! This is my first ever Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday DESIGN TEAM post!! Yay!! This weeks challenge is to use tickets, envelopes, postage stamps. I chose to use all 3, but you only have to use one. Here is the layout I made using these 3 elements:

Here are some close-up pictures with details:
I chose to make my own postage stamps and envelope so they would correspond with my layout. I used some of the pictures of the animals at the zoo for my postages, and I took a plain kraft envelope, and covered it with pp, cut circles out of kraft cardboard, and used some eyelets to attach to my envelope. I then took some twine and wrapped it around!

Here is my title and my tickets. I love the TH tickets, and they went perfectly with my colors!

I went with a hidden journaling tag to give more room for everything else.

My journaling reads: Spring Break 2010. We met Ruthy & JoJo in Tulsa for a mini Spring Break getaway. This was our day we went to the Tulsa Zoo. Joe- 11yrs old, Daniel- 7 yrs old, Jacob- 1 yr old

I really hope you all head over there and try out this challenge!! It was a lot of fun!! Oh, and did I mention...Graphic 45 is this weeks sponsor!! How exciting is that??!!

For this layout, I used:
  • Bazzill Cardstock
  • The Paper Studio paper
  • The Paper Studio stickers, 3D embellishments and eyelets
  • Canvas Home Basics, kraft envelope
  • Tim Holtz, tickets
  • Cricut Cartridge, Sentimental
  • twine
  • buttons
  • kraft tags, etsy
I just want to say Thank You so much for stopping by, and I really hope you enjoyed my layout!!
Much love,
Jenny♥
